SAP- ERP project implementation overview:(As on 15.03.2016)

• APDCL has taken up a major IT intervention project i.e. implementation of SAP ERP (Enterprise resource planning) to integrate internal and external management information across the entire organization.
• M/s PwC was engaged as a programme management consultant for the project on 15th March-2012
• M/s TCS was awarded contract as implementation partner of the SAP-ERP project on 25th March-2013.
• The modules covered under this project are
  1. Material Management(MM)
  2. Human Capital Management(HCM)
  3. Finance and Controlling(FICO)
  4. Project System(PS)
  5. Plant Maintenance(PM)
• M/s CyfyturePvt. Ltd has been awarded the contract of Cloud Data Centre (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Service Provider.
• M/s IL&FS has been awarded as ICT infrastructure provider for the project.
• The project cost for implementation of SAP ERP is 57.12 Cr.
• The pilot implementation has gone live on 11th Jan-2016.
• Target date of project completion across APDCL is May-2016.
